Dino De Laurentiis, the famed producer of hundreds of films over more than 60 years, has passed today at the age of 91. Probably best known for Barbarella, Dune, Serpico, King Kong '76, and more recently Hannibal and Red Dragon, I will remember him for his 80's Stephen King and Conan adaptations. In the 1980's Dino De Laurentiis was involved in Conan the Barbarian, Conan the Destroyer, The Dead Zone, Cat's Eye, Silver Bullet, and Maximum Overdrive. He was also responsible for such films as Manhunter, Army of Darkness, Flash Gordon, and so many more.

If you are unfamiliar with the work of Dino De Laurentiis, please take some time to read up about his amazing career and the films he has been responsible for. He will definitely be missed.
