Daily Dead readers may remember a recent interview we conducted with Sirc Michaels, director and producer of Evil Dead: The Musical in Las Vegas. If the event seemed like something you'd be interested in, they've just topped that with the announcement of a one-night special event at Mt. Charleston Lodge that also includes a screening of The Evil Dead:

"The ultimate Evil Dead experience is coming to Mt. Charleston Lodge as the cast of Evil Dead: The Musical is hosting an evening unlike any other on Wednesday, Mar. 27. The adventure, coinciding with the release of the Evil Dead remake, begins at 6 p.m. and includes a one-night stay in a cabin with king-sized bed at Mt. Charleston Lodge, dinner buffet, live performance by the cast of Evil Dead: The Musical and a screening of the 1981 horror film.

“Creating an experience in a cabin at Mt. Charleston Lodge is the perfect way to pay homage to one of the iconic horror flicks of all time, Evil Dead,” says Sirc Michaels, producer of Evil Dead: The Musical. “Our cast will perform some scenes from Evil Dead: The Musical and then we will move to a dark cabin to watch the movie that started it all. It will definitely be an unforgettable evening.”

Dinner includes Bloody BBQ Chicken, Chainsaw-carved Pulled Pork and Undead Ribs, among other choices. Reservations are required and cabins are being rented on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests can reserve their cabin by calling Mt. Charleston Lodge at 702-872-5408, extension 2. A reception begins at 6 p.m. on Mar. 27, with dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. The live performance of Evil Dead: The Musical and screening of Evil Dead follow immediately afterwards. The cost for the experience is $200 per couple, which also includes two drinks. For more information on this one-night only experience, visit www.EvilDeadLasVegas.com "
