The Wretched was included in Sara Clements' list of "Five Female-Centric Films We Can’t Wait to See" at this year's Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal, and ahead of its world premiere at the fest, we've been provided with the film's teaser trailer to share with Daily Dead readers, offering an eerie look at an ancient evil that moves in next door to a teenager one fateful summer.

Written and directed by Brett Pierce and Drew T. Pierce, The Wretched stars John-Paul Howard (Hell or High Water), Piper Curda (I Didn’t Do It), Azie Tesfai (Supergirl), and Kevin Bigley (Netflix’s Upload).

The Wretched will make its world premiere at Fantasia on Friday, July 19th.
