The first poster for Dexter Season 7 has just been released, along with a new behind-the-scenes photo. Like the first video release, this poster continues to tease the premiere episode, which takes place right where the Season 6 finale left off.

We also have a behind-the-scenes photo that was recently posted online by Jennifer Carpenter, who is currently in the middle of filming episode 7.03. The new season of Dexter premieres on September 30th, but you can get an early look if you're heading to SDCC this July:

"The gasps from last season’s finale can still be heard among every DEXTER fan as their worst fears were realized – Dexter got caught and by none other than Deb! What will he do, what will she do…what’s next for America’s favorite serial killer? If the suspense is killing you, then don’t miss this incredible panel, where you’ll be the first to see the Comic-Con EXCLUSIVE first two minutes of the season premiere. Moderator Ralph Garman (KROQ entertainment reporter) presides over a revealing interview and Q&A session with the stars and executive producers of Dexter. Featured panelists include series star/executive producer Michael C. Hall (Dexter), Jennifer Carpenter (Deb), special guest star Yvonne Strahovski, and executive producers John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton and Scott Buck.

Plus, Dexter fans will be the first to see the world premiere trailer of one of the hottest series on television, the Golden Globe-winning drama Homeland, presented by executive producers Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa.

Prior to the DEXTER panel, SHOWTIME will also debut the first chapter of the new season of the animated webisode series “Early Cuts: All In The Family,” narrated by Michael C. Hall, written by Dexter producer Scott Reynolds and illustrated by celebrated comic book artist David Mack. “Early Cuts: All In The Family” continues to tell important stories from Dexter Morgan’s past – this season written thematically to tie-in to the season six cliffhanger, as Dexter reflects back on other instances where his sister, Deb, has sensed his darkness. Satisfy your obsession with America’s favorite serial killer all weekend. Head to the Showtime booth (#4129) for Dexter giveaways and signings, and stop by the Entertainment Earth/Biff Bang Pow (#2343) for exclusive merchandise. The new season of Dexter premieres on September 30th at 9 p.m. ET/PT only on SHOWTIME."

The Dexter panel will take place on July 12th in Ballroom 20. To see the first photo from Dexter Season 7, visit our earlier coverage at: http://dailydead.com/first-photo-from-dexter-season-7/
