NECA has been getting a lot of coverage lately for their upcoming line of figures from the Nightmare on Elm Street series. Besides those figures, they are also known for their wide range of  horror figures and collectibles from Friday the 13th, The Exorcist, Hellraiser, and other horror licenses.

One series that hasn't gotten a lot of love in terms of collectible offerings is The Evil Dead series, but NECA has just announced that they have acquired the rights to The Evil Dead 2. That means that we should see a whole line of figures in various sizes, with the same kind of quality they have brought to their other products.

We don't know what their plans are yet, but all will be revealed at this year's San Diego Comic Con in July. Stay Tuned!
