What if someone discovered they had god-like superpowers and decided to use them to destroy humanity instead of saving it? That question is at the core of Brightburn, and with the film now in theaters via Sony Pictures, a new motion comic takes us inside the unnerving mind of the movie's titular character.

You can watch the new motion comic below, and check here to catch up on our previous coverage of Brightburn, including Heather Wixson's review and video interviews with the cast and crew!

Synopsis: "What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister?

With Brightburn, the visionary filmmaker of Guardians of the Galaxy and Slither presents a startling, subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror."

Brightburn was directed by David Yarovesky, written by Mark Gunn & Brian Gunn, and produced by James Gunn and Kenneth Huang. The cast includes Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones and Meredith Hagner.

About the Author - Derek Anderson

Raised on a steady diet of R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps books and Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Derek has been fascinated with fear since he first saw ForeverWare being used on an episode of Eerie, Indiana.

When he’s not writing about horror as the Senior News Reporter for Daily Dead, Derek can be found daydreaming about the Santa Carla Boardwalk from The Lost Boys or reading Stephen King and Brian Keene novels.
