DRUNKEN DEVIL Audio Drama: "Drunken Devil, the live-events production company whose horror-themed immersive parties and events have attracted a loyal and growing fan base, on Thursday introduced a Kickstarter campaign for its upcoming interactive audio drama THE COSMIC GAME, and announced today that the initial funding goal was exceeded less than 48 hours after launch.
Rooted in horror, steeped in fantasy and marked with sharp humor and over-the-top fun, THE COSMIC GAME is set to debut this summer with an exciting, audacious twist on the story of creation – along with interactive elements and specially created cocktail pairings. The initial $10,000 Kickstarter goal will be used to supplement costs of cast, crew, post-production and marketing to ensure THE COSMIC GAME reaches a large audience of fans.
After reaching its initial goal with unexpected speed, Drunken Devil has embarked on a series of “stretch goals” to further fund the nine episodes of THE COSMIC GAME’s first season. In the supernatural drama, God and the Devil challenge each other to a game of wit and influence, with humanity’s fate hanging in the balance. As they journey from the Garden of Eden to New Orleans’ infamous Storyville circa 1917, listeners will meet a host of colorful characters who plunge them into an otherworldly conflict filled with bloody battles, dark magic and violent cults.
As they listen to the audio-drama story, audiences can also opt in to interactive storytelling elements that including deciphering clues within documents and dossiers that expand its universe in real time, and engaging with fellow fans on a community hub. And for fans who have experienced Drunken Devil’s past live parties and dinner events, key characters will appear throughout the season. But at its core, THE COSMIC GAME is designed to be spellbinding entertainment for those who simply want to listen, building on growing interest in audio dramas.“By expanding our offerings into the fast-growing world of audio-driven entertainment, we’re able to explore an entirely new creative arena that brings Drunken Devil into a post-pandemic world,” says Drunken Devil founder and creator Matt Dorado, who is co-creating THE COSMIC GAME with Mak Manson, his best friend and collaborator of 10 years (and original Drunken Devil performer).
Donors to the COSMIC GAME Kickstarter fund will ensure that they receive each episode of the drama – which will be available on major audio services – before the general public. They’ll also have the opportunity, depending on donation level, to receive special gifts, including limited-edition pins, prints and a recipe book with each episode’s cocktail and featuring fantastical “drink portraiture” by acclaimed photographer Noah Fecks. Each gift features a clue about the COSMIC GAME story.

HOODMAN Release Details: "Nightwatcher Films and Indie Rights announce the release of the feature film 'Hoodman' a horror-crime-thriller starring Madison Spear and Brock Morse on AmazonPrime May 1, 2021.
'Hoodman' is the story of a troubled young woman [Madison Spear] who seeks to find her missing child as an urban legend haunts her small town. 'Hoodman' is the second feature film written and directed by Hollywood-based indie horror film maker Mark W. Curran under his Nightwatcher Films moniker.
