When a law office is hit by a virus that causes its victims to act out their most-violent urges, a recently fired employee uses the building’s quarantine as an opportunity to strike back at his company’s heartless executives in this sharp horror satire. He’s joined on his mission of revenge by a disgruntled client. Presented by Shudder.”

Director: Ted Geoghegan Run Time: 92 min. Format: DCP Rating: R
Starring: Kaniehtiio Horn, Justin Rain, Eamon Farren, Ezra Buzzington
From writer/director Ted Geoghegan (We Are Still Here) and featuring wrestling icon Jon Huber (WWE Superstar Luke Harper), MOHAWK is a white-knuckled hell ride that’s unrelenting in its intensity and unflinching in its depiction of humanity pushed to the limits.

After one of her tribe sets fire to an American soldiers’ camp during the War of 1812, a young female Mohawk finds herself pursued by a ruthless band of renegades bent on revenge. Fleeing into the deep woods, Mohawk youths Oak (Kaniehtiio Horn, Hemlock Grove) and Calvin (Justin Rain, Fear the Walking Dead), along with their British sympathizer friend Joshua (Eamon Farren, Twin Peaks), confront the true horrors of war and the terror of the darkest night as they’re hunted by the bloodthirsty Colonel Holt (Ezra Buzzington, The Hills Have Eyes) and his small army of soldiers.

As the Americans seem to close in from all sides, leaving a massacred trail of destruction behind them, the trio must use every resource available to stave off brutal execution at the hands of the sadistic soldiers. But the warrior spirit is strong in Oak, and before the sun rises her pursuers will discover the full power of a righteous spirit unleashed.”

Dead Hooker in a Trunk Blu-ray: Press Release: “Atlanta, GA - Arriving at festivals almost a decade ago, “Dead Hooker in a Trunk” was a brash and violent calling card for a pair of young Canadian filmmakers. The Soska Sisters’ grindhouse horror film proved to be a hit on the festival circuit, with many regarding it as a stylistic, genre-bending take on modern exploitation.

HorrorPack® is pleased to announce the EXCLUSIVE release of “Dead Hooker in a Trunk” as the nineteenth entry in the HorrorPack® Limited Edition Blu-ray™ lineup, including brand new cover art and an all-new commentary track by Jen and Sylvia Soska and their frequent soundtrack collaborator, Kevvy from Fake Shark. Speaking about their breakout feature, the Soska Sisters said, "This film is a miracle. Its success is a huge leap of faith. The belief fans put in us and the way they rallied around us made our greatest dreams a reality. This film is proof that when you follow your stupid fucking dreams, great things happen."

Over the last decade, the Soskas have become a rising force in Horror, and now their first film is finally available on Limited Edition Blu-ray™ from HorrorPack®, in collaboration with MPI Media and IFC Films.

Special features:

  • Original Theatrical Version of the film
  • NEW audio commentary with Directors Jen and Sylvia Soska and frequent collaborator Kevvy
  • Behind the Scenes Featurette
  • Deleted and Alternate Scenes
  • Original Theatrical Trailer

For the uninitiated, HorrorPack® is a monthly Horror Movie Subscription Box featuring four Horror Movies on Blu-ray™ (including a Limited Edition Blu-ray™ each month) for $24.99 with free US shipping, or four Horror Movies on DVD for $19.99 with free US shipping for fans of the DVD format. Subscriptions are available in 1, 3, 6, and 12-Month options with discounts for longer terms.

The “Dead Hooker in a Trunk” HorrorPack® Limited Edition Blu-ray™, Number 19 in the series, is available now for ordering as part of the February Blu-ray subscription pack at horrorpack.com/dhiat.”

Terror Take Away: Press Release:Terror Take Away is the second film by Alberto Bogo, the Italian director whose first film Extreme Jukebox, in 2015, was distributed by the famous Troma Entertainment.

Bogo returns with a film that he describes as "A political horror at George Romero", full of old-school splatter effects, violence, beautiful girls and grotesque humour!

The director adds: "Italy is famous in the world for the Mafia, the mandolin and ... the pizza". But no one had ever thought of making a film focused on the latter ... Isn't it incredible? I have found a solution to this!

The film speaks about a mysterious pizza delivery killer, whose actions are exploited by an unscrupulous businessman, who organizes an absurd game in his luxurious villa ... "It is a film that tells a little bit about what Italy has become today "ends the Director.

Terror Take Away has already an Italian distribution in theatres scheduled for Halloween 2018, thanks to the Movieday platform: whoever will support the film buying in advance the online ticket (without any surcharge) will also enjoy the Pizzorama, the miraculous method of increased analog reality that will bring you back directly in the '70s.

Produced by David Ferrando, Sonia Passarelli, and Lucio Basadonne, Terror Take Away will be present at the next Cannes Market, looking for an international distribution.

Bogo promises that the surprises concerning this film ... will not finish here! Have a good Pizza to the taste of ... Terror!”

About the Author - Tamika Jones

Tamika hails from North Beach, Maryland, a tiny town inches from the Chesapeake Bay.She knew she wanted to be an actor after reciting a soliloquy by Sojourner Truth in front of her entire fifth grade class. Since then, she's appeared in over 20 film and television projects. In addition to acting, Tamika is the Indie Spotlight manager for Daily Dead, where she brings readers news on independent horror projects every weekend.

The first horror film Tamika watched was Child's Play. Being eight years old at the time, she remembers being so scared when Chucky came to life that she projectile vomited. It's tough for her to choose only one movie as her favorite horror film, so she picked two: Nosferatu and The Stepford Wives (1975).
