ARROW to Release Haunted Road Trip Thriller THRESHOLD May 3 in the US, Canada and the UK: "London, UK - Arrow Video is excited to announce the ARROW release of Powell Robinson and Patrick R. Young's acclaimed Threshold, available to subscribers in the US, Canada and the UK. The haunted road trip thriller world premiered at the Salem Horror Fest in October and made its European premiere at Soho Horror Film Festival in November. On May 3, ARROW subscribers in the US, Canada and the UK can go on a trip with Threshold from the comfort of their homes.
Threshold, the second feature from co-directors Powell Robinson, Patrick R. Young and producer Lauren Bates, following their debut Bastard (2015), was improvised and shot on two iPhones over the course of a 12-day road trip with a crew of just three. The results are an inventive and compelling psychological thriller with hints of the supernatural that recalls such indie cult classics as Ben Wheatley’s Kill List (2011) and Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead’s Resolution (2013).
Patrick R. Young commented: “We’re excited to have Threshold join the Arrow family. This is a deeply personal project, and we couldn’t imagine better caretakers than these cult, genre, bizarro film-loving cine-freaks. Our only hope is that this gives people a chance to connect with our actor’s characters as much as we have.”

Directed by Cody Calahan, written by Peter Genoway, the film stars RJ Mitte (Breaking Bad), Peter Outerbridge, Ari Millen, Martin Roach, Nicholas Campbell, and David Ferry.
The film is currently available in the US under Gravitas Ventures and will be available in Canada under Black Fawn Distribution on April 27th (it will also be available in the UK/Ireland on April 26th via Lightbulb and Australia/NZ on the 28th via Lightbulb).

QUEEN CRAB Live-Action TV Series: "MiLa Media announced today that they will be developing a live-action TV series adapted from the “Queen Crab” graphic novel created and written by Jimmy Palmiotti (Harley Quinn, Painkiller Jane, Deadpool, Jonah Hex) and published by Image Comics.
“Queen Crab” follows the adventures of Ginger Drake, a seemingly normal Brooklyn girl navigating her way through a life that seems to always be way out of her control. After being pushed off a boat by her husband, a mysterious underwater encounter leaves her with giant crab claws. As Ginger struggles to get back to a “normal” life – if that’s even possible -she also tries to exact revenge on those that put her in this position. “Queen Crab” is a timely story about real empowerment, full of twists and turns.
