On June 24th, 2016, the extraterrestrials will return to try and finish what they started in 20th Century Fox's Independence Day: Resurgence. Ahead of the sequel's debut, however, Titan Comics will offer fans new adventures set in the alien-invaded world with their Independence Day comic books.

Penned by Victor Gischler (Sally of the Wasteland, Deadpool) and brought to life by artist Steve Scott (Batman, X-Men Forever), the first installment of the Independence Day comic books hits shelves on March 2nd. Below, we have a look at the synopses and cover art for the first two issues:
