First Details on Comic, Dark Moon: "Dark Moon is a new independent sci-fi horror comic which is starting with its first pilot episode this Halloween 2014. It will be available in a few different formats, both digital and print, all of which combine a traditional comic book with an immersive musical experience. There will also be a version available for free viewing, which will have a sequenced “movie feel” for fans to enjoy. After the initial pilot launch, Dark Moon is seeking a publisher to take their unique ideas to the next level.
Dark Moon is a new comic which will be using music and sound FX as a central part of its comic reading experience. The print and digital versions will feature a downloadable soundtrack to listen to while reading, and there will also be an online version of the comic where the music is sequenced to the scenes, similar to a movie experience, while keeping the feel of reading a comic. While this isn’t the first comic to incorporate music, the comics’ creator, Freematik, hopes to “go much further down the rabbit hole” than anyone else has attempted in the past, to create a truly immersive comic experience.
The story has a dark sci-fi/horror atmosphere, and the music matches this feel, with a dark, atmospheric vibe and moments of electric energy. The sound FX are also carefully crafted using cutting edge sound design techniques and technology, which Freematik claims “we’ve spent as much time on sound design and soundtrack for this comic than most people do for feature length movies, and this really helps to put our fans in a completely different universe”."

The Jersey Devil Trailer Released: "Humanity Pride Productions, Green Light Films and Diamond Jesus Productions released the official trailer for the new comedy film, The Jersey Devil today.
The film stars Chris Mulkey (“Captain Phillips”, “Boardwalk Empire”,”Cloverfield”), David Chokachi (“Baywatch”), Award Winning Actor Keith Collins (“The Meat Puppet”,”Gravedigger”), Jack Mulcahy (“The Brothers McMullen”,”Porky’s”), Edvin Ortega ("Orange is the New Black"), and Award Winning Actress Penelope Lagos (“Stuck in the Middle").
When his term limit comes up, Lucifer, the original Devil, must turn the reigns of Hell over to James Burnett. But Burnett has new plans for Hell that includes changing its' image and relocation. He enlists his Advocate, Richard Cooper and his beautiful sidekick Tori to find a new home for the damned. After an extensive search, they settle on New Jersey. As construction begins, James implements his plan to gather as many souls as possible so he can challenge the Kingdom. Meanwhile, Lucifer, with his wife Eve and Advocate Judas have arrived in Jersey to put an end to James' plans. After several failed attempts to stop him, Lucifer turns to a higher power for help.
“The Jersey Devil” and Jersey City, NJ are a match made in HELL! With the support of the FilmJC and the Mayor’s Office, The Jersey Devil was filmed throughout Jersey City early this year. Scenes were filmed at several well-known locations including the Landmark Loews’s Jersey Theater, NJCU and City Hall. Jersey City provided a perfect backdrop for the hipper, more contemporary Hell."

CarousHELL First Details: "A horror/comedy about a sentient carousel unicorn that gets pushed too far by a brat. So the unicorn, Duke, breaks free of his spinning prison to go on a revenge-driven murder spree on his way to kill the kid. It's funny, it's offensive, and it's bloody (20 kills at my last count). We have tapped Scott Lewis to be the cinematographer and editor on this film. We also have Stevo Bortz on board as composer.
We will shoot the film in late fall 2014 (aiming for November) and if that's the case, the film will most likely be done/ready for release by June 2015 (if not sooner, but post-production takes a lot of time)."

Axeman 2: Overkill Production and Casting Details: "On the heels of successful early results from the May 5th release of “Axeman,” filmmaker Joston “El Rey” Theney and co-writer/executive producer Dr. Christopher Otiko of Blood Red Films announce plans for the sequel, “Axeman 2: Overkill.”
Officially in pre-production as of Thursday, July 2nd, cameras roll in early October on location in Frazier Park, CA. The upcoming sequel stars former 3-time World Champion (WWE “Adam Bomb / WCW “Wrath”) Bryan Clark as the titular character, former “Baywatch” and “Bold and the Beautiful” star Angelica Bridges, recent “Big Brother” reality contest winner Rachel Reilly and Farrah Abraham in her feature film debut.
“Axeman” alum Arielle Brachfeld returns to the retro 80s-inspired slasher as plucky, reluctant hero Deputy Darlene Whitfield, as well as Theney who reprises his role as the affable, death-defying Darren Cole. Newcomers to the slasher series are Jacqui Holland (My Best Friend’s Girl), Alisha Seaton (The Fourth Kind), Maria Olsen (Paranormal Activity 3), Monique Parent (Profane Exhibit), and Hannah Landberg (Rabid Love).
When asked for details on the sequel, writer/director Joston Theney replied, “Well, it’s certainly a darker, grittier film than the first. We learned a lot from our first go ‘round. There’s no CGI blood splatters. No short cuts in SFX. No deeply, intertwined love trysts. This is a bloodletting! This film WILL live up to it’s name – Overkill. Guaranteed.”
The sequel will see an initial theatrical release in early 2015.
