Ever since we decided to launch Corpse Club, we've looked forward to mixing things up with different host lineups and themed episodes to provide listeners with a wide range of topics, formats, and candid conversations. That's why, for our third episode, we're excited to unleash the first installment of "Horrigins," a new monthly spinoff that takes a look at the origins of key figures and franchises in horror. First up are the films featuring the boogeyman himself, Freddy Krueger, as two members of the Corpse Club descend into the dreamy depths of Springwood to discuss the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise.
A special installment featuring co-hosts Patrick Bromley and Heather Wixson, Corpse Club Episode 3 is titled “Horrigins – A Nightmare on Elm Street." The Corpse Club duo discuss their first experiences with A Nightmare on Elm Street, the enduring appeal of Wes Craven's classic 1984 horror film, how the franchise's focus shifted to Freddy Krueger's altered image in the sequels, and much more.
Upcoming episodes of Corpse Club will continue to see a shakeup of the host lineup and format, featuring additional members of the Daily Dead team, as well as special guests from all corners of the horror entertainment world.
