Flanked by battleships and helicopters on a stormy night at sea, Godzilla reminds us why he is king with a beacon of radioactive light in the new poster for Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

You can view the new poster below (via Twitter), and check here to catch up on our previous coverage of Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

"The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance."

Directed by Michael Dougherty (Krampus, Trick 'r Treat), Godzilla: King of the Monsters stars Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds and Zhang Ziyi. A Legendary Pictures film, Godzilla: King of the Monsters will be released to theaters on May 31st, 2019 from Warner Bros.
