In Scott Derrickson’s Deliver Us From Evil, a demonic force is targeting New York City residents, possessing them with a body-bending, tongue-hissing intensity. We recently gave Daily Dead readers a look at the first clip of the movie, and now we have two more clips that show New York police officer Ralph Sarchie and the priest Mendoza face-to-face with their enemy.

In DELIVER US FROM EVIL, New York police officer Ralph Sarchie (Eric Bana), struggling with his own personal issues, begins investigating a series of disturbing and inexplicable crimes. He joins forces with an unconventional priest (Edgar Ramirez), schooled in the rituals of exorcism, to combat the frightening and demonic possessions that are terrorizing their city. Based upon the book, which details Sarchie’s bone-chilling real-life cases.”

Deliver Us From Evil stars Eric Bana, Edgar Ramirez, Olivia Munn, Sean Harris and Joel McHale. The script was written by Scott Derrickson & Paul Boardman, who previously worked together on The Exorcism Of Emily Rose. The movie will be released to US theaters on July 2nd.

Check back over the next couple of weeks for our exclusive interview with director Scott Derrickson, who told us about adapting the book, meeting the real Ralph Sarchie, and his upcoming projects.
