Like Ellen Ripley and her doomed companions from the Sulaco spaceship in the beginning of 1992's Alien 3, a facehugger makes its way to the prison planet of Fiorina 'Fury' 161, soon finding a host in an ill-fated four-legged companion. The Dog Alien action figure, the third item in NECA's Series 3 Alien franchise figures, comes out next month, and today the company revealed a close look at the quick-footed killer.

Along with the "Kane in Nostromo Spacesuit" figure from Alien and the android Bishop figure from Aliens, NECA's Dog Alien collectible will be available this December. Featuring head to tail articulation, the 7-inch scaled Dog Alien figure comes with a bendable tail that can be warped into multiple menacing positions. We have up-close images of the figure below (via NECA).
