Ahead of AMC's The Walking Dead's Hall H panel later this week at Comic-Con, the first photo from the upcoming tenth season has been revealed by Entertainment Weekly.
The new photo (see below) features Michonne slashing walkers with her trusty katana against the backdrop of a forest on fire, and when you can't exactly call the fire department in the living dead apocalypse, a blaze like the one in the photo could lead to utter devastation if it goes unchecked.
Here's what The Walking Dead showrunner Angela Kang told EW about the fire in the photo:
“One of the things that we have going on this season is, we’re continuing some explorations of natural elements and how they play into our world. And fire is one of those elements that comes into play in a few key ways that twist the story in a way that will be pretty exciting.”
