Although its release date was recently moved from May to November of 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Marvel's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has now been given another release date, this time in 2022.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now slated to come out on March 25th, 2022, after Marvel moved their Spider-Man sequel to November of 2021.

As previously reported, Sam Raimi will direct Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness, following Scott Derrickson's departure from the movie due to creative differences (although he's still on board as an executive producer of the latest film based on the Marvel comic book character created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko).

Additionally, Exhibitor Relations and Bloody Disgusting reveal that Sony's Escape Room sequel is moving from August 14th, 2020 to January 1st, 2021.

As previously reported, Escape Room 2 is currently in the works at Columbia Pictures, with Adam Robitel, co-writer Bragi F. Schut, and producer Neal H. Moritz returning for the sequel.

Plot details for the new movie are being kept under wraps, but viewers of the first film may have an idea of where things will pick up in Escape Room 2, as the original movie certainly set up an intense escape room scenario for the survivors of the first movie.

Bloody Disgusting and Exhibitor Relations also reveal that Sony's animated Hotel Transylvania 4 is now slated to come out on August 6th, 2021, moving it back from its December 22nd, 2021 release date.

We'll keep Daily Dead readers updated on all three of these films as more details are revealed.
