Night of the Living Dead: Resurrection is an independent British remake of George Romero's classic film. The movie will be released in the US early in 2013, but will have a number of limited screenings in the UK over the next month. We have details on the screening dates/locations, plus a brand new trailer.

"Independent horror film Night of the Living Dead: Resurrection opens in a limited theatrical release in UK cinemas on Friday 30th November 2012. The film is a British version of the 1968 zombie classic, directed by James Plumb from a script co-written with Producer Andrew Jones.

UK distributor 4Digital Media will open the film in 6 venues across the UK with a DVD and Video On Demand release to follow in early 2013.

The film will screen at 4 branches of UK chain Cineworld from Friday 30th November 2012 to Thursday 6th December 2012:

Synopsis: "The deceased have risen from their graves with only one instinct: to feed on the living. As academics speculate on the scientific cause of the phenomenon, theologians point to the Armageddon foretold in the Book of Revelation. As the cities are overrun and civilization crumbles, a family take refuge from the undead army in an isolated farmhouse in West Wales. But the greatest threat is already among them."
