Miami's Popcorn Frights Film Festival 2017 has already announced an impressive slate of horror films for attendees to look forward to, and they recently added yet another exciting title that's a special treat for fans of Greg McLean and Daniel Radcliffe, as their new movie Jungle will make its US premiere at the festival:

Press Release: MIAMI, FL – Popcorn Frights Film Festival, Florida’s largest genre film event, will present the US Premiere of Greg McLean’s (Wolf Creek, The Belko Experiment) gloriously gruesome and tense survival thriller, Jungle, starring Daniel Radcliffe as a special presentation on Wednesday, August 16, at Miami's landmark O Cinema Wynwood theater.

Based on a real-life story set in the early 1980s, Jungle centers on a backpacker (Daniel Radcliffe) and two friends who set off on what was supposed to be the adventure of a lifetime. But their dream trip soon turns into a wilderness nightmare from which not all of them will return. Jungle is an altogether different kind of unimaginable terror, all the more potent for being true.

"We are both thrilled and honored to surprise our fans with the US Premiere of Greg McLean’s
hotly anticipated new film, Jungle, which features one of Daniel Radcliffe’s most daring onscreen performances. It is deeply humbling for us to include this bold, breathtaking, and hugely entertaining film as part of our Festival, and we could not be more excited to share it with our city,” said Igor Shteyrenberg & Marc Ferman, Co-Founders & Co-Directors of the Popcorn Frights Film Festival.

46 films have already been announced to premiere at the third annual edition of Popcorn Frights Film Festival, occurring August 11-17, including the North American Premieres of Jackals, The Hatred, and The Bride, and the Florida Premieres of Mayhem, Super Dark Times, The Endless, and Tragedy Girls. Numerous guests will be attending the Festival as well, such as Joe Lynch, Mickey Keating, Graham Skipper, Zach Kahn, and Brandon Christenson, amongst others.

The third edition of Popcorn Frights Film Festival looks to be the biggest, boldest, and bloodiest yet.
