"For three years, I was their instrument of death." We've been excited for Daily Dead readers to experience Timo Tjahjanto's The Night Comes for Us since Heather Wixson saw it at Fantastic Fest, and now Netflix has unleashed the official trailer for the film ahead of its premiere on October 19th.

Written and directed by Timo Tjahjanto (director of Headshot and co-director of the V/H/S/2 segment "Safe Haven"), The Night Comes for Us stars Iko Uwais, Julie Estelle, Joe Taslim, Sunny Pang, Zack Lee, and Shareefa Daanish. Synopsis: "The Night Comes For Us follows Ito (played by Joe Taslim), a former triad enforcer, and his mission to protect a young girl while trying to escape his former gang after his mysterious disappearance setting off a violent battle on the streets of Jakarta."
