Stranger Things fans recently had their worlds rocked by a Super Bowl ad for the show, and the cover for the new issue of Entertainment Weekly features another look at the series' second season, including Eleven's new hairdo.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, series co-creator Ross Duffer discussed the direction he and his brother, Matt, are taking with Stranger Things 2:

“It’s a balance of the comfort you’re familiar with but then trying to take it in new directions. That’s what we’re trying to strike with season 2.”

We'll be sure to keep Daily Dead readers updated on Stranger Things 2 as more details are revealed, and in the meantime, you can check out the EW cover below.

"Stranger Things 2 is coming. Halloween 2017.

A year after Will’s return, everything seems back to normal… but a darkness lurks just beneath the surface, threatening all of Hawkins."
