Wizard World Comic Con Tulsa commences on October 23rd and Maryland's own Billy Martin (Good Charlotte, Vitriol) illustrated the latest variant of The Walking Dead #1, exclusive only to con-goers. Also: five Bone Tomahawk posters, trailers for #Horror and The Shelter, and details on the Scream cast reunion.

The Walking Dead #1: Press Release: "TULSA, Okla., October 8, 2015 -- Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) and Skybound, Robert Kirkman's imprint at Image Comics, today announced that illustrator and musician Billy Martin has drawn the 20th in a yearlong series of Limited Edition Exclusive Variant Covers of The Walking Dead #1 comic, to be provided free to all full-price attendees at Wizard World Comic Con Tulsa, October 23-25. Skybound’s The Walking Dead created by Kirkman, the groundbreaking, Eisner-Award-winning comic book series, continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

The exclusive The Walking Dead #1 edition will be produced in extremely limited quantities and is available at registration to fans at the Cox Business Center only while supplies last. VIP attendees will receive an additional black & white sketch version of the comic.

Best known as the lead guitarist and keyboard player for the multi-platinum selling band Good Charlotte, Martin has been splitting his passion for music and art professionally for more than a decade. His art can be seen in Good Charlotte’s album art, stage design and merchandise.

Martin ran his own clothing line, Level 27, for ten years featuring his goth/horror themed art before he decided to close the line to further his art in the illustration world. Martin has worked for Disney, Upper Deck/Marvel Trading Cards, IDW Publishing, Image Comics, BOOM! Ent. and SLG Comics.

The Shelter: Press Release: "Los Angeles, California - October 08, 2015 - With more than fifteen years in the film industry under his belt, writer/director John Fallon (aka The Arrow from popular horror fan site, http://www.ArrowintheHead.com) makes his feature-length directorial debut with ‘The Shelter’, a true passion project, and an ambitious debut film. It premiered to strong reviews at Frightfest 2015 in London this past September, demonstrating clear influences that range from Roman Polanski to David Lynch, mixed in with a healthy dose of what Fallon would call his own “spiritual upbringing and personal demons.”

“'The Shelter' was the film that wanted to be made. The bulk of the process from script to screen was very pure,” says writer/director John Fallon.

The film revolves around a widower and homeless man named, Thomas Jacobs (played by Michael Paré), who finds shelter one night when he falls upon a vast two story house with the lights on and an inviting open front door. He strolls in and makes himself at home, but what at first seems like a lucky break turns out to be a cruel twist of fate when he realizes that the house won’t let him leave.

‘The Shelter’ will next screen at the 48th edition of the prestigious Sitges Film Festival on Friday, October 9th."

The first horror film Tamika watched was Child's Play. Being eight years old at the time, she remembers being so scared when Chucky came to life that she projectile vomited.
