If survivors see the creatures in the upcoming Netflix movie Bird Box, they're driven to the point of suicidal insanity. Based on Josh Malerman's acclaimed 2014 novel of the same name, Bird Box is coming to Netflix on December 21st following a limited theatrical release on December 13th, and a new trailer promises a tense tale of survival, love, and unfathomable fear.

Directed by Susanne Bier from a screenplay by Eric Heisserer (adapted from Josh Malerman's novel), Bird Box stars Sandra Bullock, Trevante Rhodes, Jacki Weaver, Rosa Salazar, Danielle Macdonald, Lil Rel Howery, Tom Hollander, Colson Baker, BD Wong, Sarah Paulson, and John Malkovich.

Bird Box will be released on Netflix on December 21st, following a limited theatrical release beginning December 13th in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and London.
