Something is stalking the streets and the woods in the new movie Bird Box, and it's so horrifying that "if you see it, you take your life." Based on Josh Malerman's acclaimed 2014 novel of the same name, Bird Box is featured in its first official trailer ahead of its December release on Netflix.

Directed by Susanne Bier from a screenplay by Eric Heisserer (adapted from Josh Malerman's novel), Bird Box stars Sandra Bullock, Trevante Rhodes, Jacki Weaver, Rosa Salazar, Danielle Macdonald, Lil Rel Howery, Tom Hollander, Colson Baker, BD Wong, Sarah Paulson, and John Malkovich.

Bird Box will be released on Netflix and in limited theaters on December 21st. Featuring a dread-filled atmosphere akin to The Happening and A Quiet Place, the new trailer for Bird Box can be viewed below:
