Frankenstein's Army director Richard Raaphorst will be present at this week's Comic-Con and has revealed a new propoganda art poster, featuring Viktor Frankenstein and a number of monsters from the movie.

The film stars Karel Roden (Hellboy, The Bourne Supremacy) as German mad scientist Viktor, who creates an army of super soldiers during World War II. MPI/Dark Sky Films, who brought us Hatchet II, Stake Land, and The Innkeepers, is producing the film.

“Toward the end of World War II, Russian soldiers pushing into eastern Germany stumble across a secret Nazi lab, one that has unearthed and begun experimenting with the journal of one Dr. Victor Frankenstein. The scientists have used the legendary Frankenstein’s work to assemble an army of supersoldiers stitched together from the body parts of their fallen comrades – a desperate Hitler’s last ghastly ploy to escape defeat.”

Richard Raphorst shared this poster over Twitter and is expected to reveal more images and artwork in the near future. To learn more, visit the links to our earlier coverage below, which includes teaser art and promotional videos used to pitch the project:
