When spirits are trapped, they tend to get angry, making life a living hell for residents of a small Alaskan town that's riddled with the restless dead in Ghost Wars. The new SYFY series premieres this October, but before it does, you can get an idea of the ghoulish encounters to come in a new trailer featuring Vincent D'Onofrio, Kim Coates, and Meat Loaf Aday.
"Set in a remote Alaskan town that has been overrun by paranormal forces, the series focuses on local outcast Roman Mercer who must overcome the town’s prejudices and his own personal demons if he’s to harness his repressed psychic powers and save everyone from the mass haunting that’s threatening to destroy them all."
Ghost Wars stars Vincent D'Onofrio, Kim Coates, Avan Jogia, Kandyse McClure and Meat Loaf. Simon Barry serves as the creator/showrunner, while the show is written and executive produced by Dennis Heaton. Chad Oakes and Michael Frislev are also both on board as executive producers.
