"The storm has passed, but the real horror has only begun." Available August 5th from DSTLRY is ENDEAVOUR #3, the final issue of the horror comic book series from Stephanie Phillips and Marc Laming, with colors by Lee Loughridge and letters by Tom Napolitano. To give Daily Dead readers a tease of the high seas horrors that await them in the final issue, we have a preview you can read right now!

About the Series: "Set aboard a historical recreation of an 18th-century schooner, ENDEAVOUR witnesses a group of children from elite families invited on a luxury recreational cruise with modern amenities. When unexpected chaos erupts, seven children are left stranded on the ship and adrift at sea. As supplies dwindle and the children battle the elements, a cutthroat struggle for survival emerges as factions (and double crosses) develop.

Phillips and Laming’s maritime epic taps into primal fears and the desecration of societal norms, offering fans an intense, character-driven narrative. In an environment where fear and betrayal reign, each child must decide who they can trust—or if they can trust anyone at all.

"ENDEAVOUR merges the suspense of survivalist classics with a meditation on modern social and cultural norms,” said Stephanie Phillips. "Marc and I have really enjoyed building this world full of dangerous alliances and suspense."

Artist Marc Laming adds, "The original HMS Endeavour voyage in 1768 didn’t end well, and this one’s outcome doesn’t look much more optimistic! I was on pins and needles waiting for Stephanie’s next script, and bringing this vision to life was equally stressful and gratifying. ENDEAVOUR is a super taught thriller and by equal measure a horrific tale that has been a pleasure to draw.”

“This book is not for the feint of heart, as readers will see!” explains editor Will Dennis. “While on the surface it’s a page-turning thriller, the real depth comes from seeing how quickly the veneer of civilization gets shattered.”"

Endeavour #3 has a pre-order cutoff of June 15th and will be released to comic book shops on August 5th. Learn more and pre-order now at: https://dstlry.co/products/endeavour-3-laming-cover-a
