The return of The Walking Dead caught many people by surprise, with Scott M. Gimple and Greg Nicotero delivering a much different episode then what we've come to expect from the season and mid-season premieres. While this was likely an emotional episode for the cast & crew, it seems like many of them were still having a great time on set and we have a look at a number of behind-the-scenes photos from this instant classic episode. *Spoiler Warning*

The wait is nearly over. Just in time for the return of The Walking Dead tomorrow, AMC has shared a number of new promotional photos with us, featuring Rick, Abraham, Michonne, Eugene, Glenn, and Sasha.

Sure, it'll be Valentine's Day in about one week, but Halloween is less than nine months away, so it's definitely not too early to start thinking about costumes and cobwebs, even as you chow down on candy hearts and foil-wrapped chocolates.

The folks at Trick or Treat Studios are definitely in the fall frights spirit, as they recently unveiled their entire 2015 lineup of masks, including some familiar faces from AMC's The Walking Dead, Clive Barker's Nightbreed, Lucio Fulci's Zombie, John Carpenter's Halloween II, Topps' Garbage Pail Kids card line, George A. Romero's Land of the Dead, Steven Spielberg's Jaws, Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story: Freak Show, and many more.

Where do they go now? That question may have swirled through your mind in the weeks following the mid-season 5 finale of AMC's The Walking Dead. With the horrific hallway showdown of Grady Memorial Hospital behind them and Father Gabriel's church in rough shape, Rick Grimes and his motley group of survivors have to navigate the walker-strewn streets when the series returns this Sunday.

Giving fans a taste of what's to come and looking back on where the series left off, AMC has released another teaser trailer and promo video for The Walking Dead Season 5's second half.

We're less than one week away from the Season 5 return of AMC's The Walking Dead, but the small screen countdown isn't the only thing that has fans excited. Rick Grimes and company have encountered a wide variety of friends and foes in their journey through multiple seasons of AMC's The Walking Dead, but with 136 issues currently in print, Robert Kirkman's comic book series on which the series is based features even more characters, including Paul "Jesus" Monroe, who is featured in McFarlane Toys' The Walking Dead comic Series 4 figure line.

Filmmakers have long tapped into the scary potential of dolls, as evidenced by Child's Play, Dolls, Annabelle, and many more. Now William Brent Bell is stepping into the sub-genre with The Boy, and The Walking Dead’s Lauren Cohan is set to star.

As shown in the final episodes of AMC's The Walking Dead Season 5's first half, Rick Grimes is taking less chances when it comes to dealing with human threats in his living dead world. Right now he'd rather shoot it out than talk it out with people like those at the Grady Memorial Hospital, and some members of his own group—Michonne and Daryl included—can tell that their fearless leader is perhaps more on edge than ever before. A newly released photo of Rick from the upcoming ninth episode (debuting on February 8th) reflects his unsettled state, while a second still features a concerned Michonne.
