We reported earlier today that Gunnar Hanson might have a cameo in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D. Now, Dread Central has revealed that Tobe Hooper is going to have a cameo in the film as well.
Having the director of the original film give his blessing and appear in the film is definitely going to help ease the concern of those that are worried that this is a careless studio remake or an attempt to cash in on the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" name.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D begins filming this month, with John Luessenhop directing. Confirmed cast members include Scott Eastwood, Alexandra Daddario, Tania Raymonde, and Sue Rock. Lionsgate will be releasing this film on October 5th, 2012.
