In Eli Roth’s latest film, Knock Knock, Keanu Reeves portrays Evan Webber, a loving husband and father who makes a fatal mistake one weekend while left home alone to his own devices. Two young women (Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas) show up one night, lost and looking for help, and Evan comes to their rescue. Thinking their meeting is just an innocent coincidence, he soon makes the mistake of succumbing to temptation and when he tries to get his visitors to leave the next day, both ladies take exception to Evan’s rudeness and enact their own twisted revenge on him.

During the recent press day for Knock Knock, Daily Dead had the chance to speak with Reeves about his role in the film and what initially drew him to the project. The iconic actor also discussed working with Roth as well as his co-stars Izzo and de Armas and how his character’s inability to take responsibility for his actions is his ultimate downfall.
