In her four-star review, Emily Von Seele called I Trapped the Devil "cerebrally charged psychological horror at its best," and ahead of the movie's theatrical and VOD release on April 26th via IFC Midnight, we've been provided with an exclusive clip to share with Daily Dead readers.

In our exclusive clip below, you can watch Steve (Scott Poythress) talk to to his brother (AJ Bowen) about the man he's holding against his will in his basement, and the chilling thing he believes he must do next.

Written and directed by Josh Lobo, I Trapped the Devil stars AJ Bowen, Jocelin Donahue, Scott Poythress, Susan Burke, Chris Sullivan, Rowan Russell, and Josh Marrott.

Synopsis: "Christmas is supposed to be a time for peace and joyful family reunions. But when Matt (AJ Bowen) and his wife Karen (Susan Burke) show up unannounced at the home of his estranged brother Steve (Scott Poythress) to celebrate the holidays, they are instead greeted with a horrifying surprise: trapped in the basement is a man. But not just any man. Steve believes that his hostage is none other than the devil himself. As shock and skepticism turn to fear and paranoia, Matt and Karen find themselves facing a terrifying quandary: is Steve dangerously unhinged? Or could the mysterious stranger really be evil incarnate? Either way, the stage is set for a true Christmas from hell."
