Before he directed the upcoming limited series adaptation of Stephen King's The Stand, Josh Boone directed the superhero horror movie The New Mutants. Previously expected to come out in 2018, the Marvel Entertainment movie is now slated for an April release from 20th Century Fox, and a new trailer has been unveiled.
Directed by Josh Boone from a screenplay by Boone and Knate Lee, and produced by Simon Kinberg, Karen Rosenfelt, and Lauren Shuler Donner, The New Mutants stars Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt, and Henry Zaga. A horror-themed take on the superhero genre, The New Mutants will be released in theaters on April 3rd.
