Her father thinks that his daughter should stay hidden from the outside world, but the enigmatic Mr. Snowcone believes otherwise in the new sci-fi thriller Freaks. Ahead of the movie's world premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival, Freaks is featured in a tense new teaser trailer.
Written and directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, Freaks stars Emile Hirsch, Lexy Kolker, Grace Park, Amanda Crew, and Bruce Dern. The film will have its world premiere at TIFF on Saturday, September 8th, and we'll be sure to keep Daily Dead readers updated on the movie as more details are revealed.
Synopsis: "In this inventive and powerful science-fiction thriller, a disturbed father (Emile Hirsch) locks his 7-year-old daughter (Lexy Kolker) in a house, warning her of grave dangers outside. But the mysterious Mr. Snowcone (Bruce Dern) convinces the girl to escape and join him on a quest for family, freedom, and revenge."
