"...right before they kill you, they'll start to twitch..." Its eerie music (coupled perfectly with artwork by Richard P. Clark) is reminiscent of a John Carpenter movie, but the trailer for John Carpenter's Tales of Science Fiction: Twitch #2 teases a new adventure on the printed page rather than the big screen, one that looks to be just as cinematic—and scary—as the stories told from Carpenter's lens.

Astrophysicist Marisa Stringfellow broke out of the observatory thinking she'd be able stop an alien entity on the rampage in the Antelope Valley desert. Lieutenant Pinkerton, meanwhile, thinks Stringfellow may be suffering from heatstroke. "How can you tell they're aliens?" Stringfellow replies, "Because right before they kill you, they'll start to twitch..."
