We've been excited for Daily Dead readers to see Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead's new film The Endless since its well-received (and shocking) world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival last year (read Daily Dead Managing Editor Heather Wixson's review here), and with the US theatrical release of the film right around the corner courtesy of Well Go USA, the unsettling official trailer has been revealed.

Well Go USA will release The Endless in US theaters this April. You can watch the official trailer below, and in case you missed it, read Heather Wixson's in-depth interview with co-directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, and producer/co-star David J. Lawson.

Synopsis: "Following their Lovecraftian modern cult classic SPRING, writer/directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead star as brothers who receive a mysterious message inspiring them to pay a visit to the cult they escaped as children. As unsettling events and phenomena begin to occur, the brothers are forced to question whether the cult’s supernatural beliefs might not be entirely made up - and if, now that they’ve returned, they’ll be allowed to leave again."
