The creator behind Cavity Colors reminds us of a very valuable lesson... ask and you shall receive. In collaboration with Jermaine Clement (Flight of the Concords, What We Do in the Shadows), Cavity Colors will release a mini collection of shirts for the horror comedy What We Do in the Shadows tomorrow, February 25th.

From Cavity Colors: On a cloudy evening a few weeks back, I sent out a tweet to Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords) that simply said "hey, let's do some WWDITS shirts" - I didn't expect a reply or anything really. It was a total shot in the dark. To my surprise, I receive a private message from him that simply says "how do we do it."

So I explained my ideas to him and how it's one of my favorite horror comedies (I fanned out a little bit) and that I wanted to have some straightforward designs that would capture the humorous feel of the movie, as well as the horror aspects without leaning too far in either direction. The film does that perfectly, and that's what makes it so great. He agreed, and we've made it happen.

WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS mini collection coming this Thursday, Feb. 25th at 5 pm (EST) - 2 new limited edition shirts + stickers. Stay tuned!

About the Author - Tamika Jones

Tamika hails from North Beach, Maryland, a tiny town inches from the Chesapeake Bay.She knew she wanted to be an actor after reciting a soliloquy by Sojourner Truth in front of her entire fifth grade class. Since then, she's appeared in over 20 film and television projects. In addition to acting, Tamika is the Indie Spotlight manager for Daily Dead, where she brings readers news on independent horror projects every weekend.

The first horror film Tamika watched was Child's Play. Being eight years old at the time, she remembers being so scared when Chucky came to life that she projectile vomited. It's tough for her to choose only one movie as her favorite horror film, so she picked two: Nosferatu and The Stepford Wives (1975).
