The Walking Dead Season 3 started filming this week, so we've been keeping an eye out for news related to upcoming episodes. Earlier this month, we learned about a character named Harold and a new casting sheet may have revealed another recurring character.

**Spoiler Warning: This may be considered a minor spoiler if you want to go know absolutely nothing about the upcoming season.

According to a casting call notice that made its way online, an actor is being sought for a recurring character named Manuel:

"[MANUEL] 30 to 40, Hispanic, a working class survivor, he is confident, physically skilled, a leader when necessary, capable and smart. Has a terrific sense of humor where you wouldn't expect one. Recurring."

This character's first appearance is said to be in an episode filming at the end of the month, so we can expect to see them show up earlier in the season. Keep in mind that this role has not officially been announced or cast at this time. Even though filming has already started, things can change and we'll update readers when an official announcement is made.

In case you missed the news from earlier this month, here is some information on Harold via E! Online:

"Our merry band of survivors will meet up with a guy who's the exact opposite of Shane (RIP). Like Dale (RIP), Harold is 'a studious and fastidious man' trying to carve out a postapocalyptic niche for himself. Sounds like he could be a model 'prisoner'!"

If you've been keeping up with The Walking Dead Season 3 news, you'll know that Michonne and The Governor have already been cast. We expect dozens of new faces this season for small and major roles, and will update readers as soon as we hear anything. Catch up on our recent season 3 coverage with the following articles:
