Even though Hammer Films started producing new movies, they haven't stopped supporting fans of classic Hammer horror. We've seen numerous book releases featuring artwork from the Hammer archives and they are also working on new editions of their classic films.

For fans of vintage Hammer posters, we have a copy of the new retro-style poster for The Woman in Black, which does a good job of bridging the old to the new.

“The story follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.”

The movie is directed by James Watkins and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Ciaran Hinds, Liz White, Janet McTeer, Alisa Khazanova, Tim McMullan, Roger Allam, Daniel Cerqueira, Shaun Dooley, Mary Stockley, Cathy Sara, David Burke, Victor McGuire, and Lucy May Barker.

The Woman in Black will be released in the US on February 3rd and the UK on February 10th. To learn more about the film, read our previous coverage:
