No matter what number a Chanel you consider yourself, you'll be sad to hear that Scream Queens has been canceled by FOX after two seasons.

Multiple outlets are reporting that FOX is not moving forward with a third season of Scream Queens. The cancelation was reportedly mentioned by FOX's Dana Walden and Gary Newman during a call with reporters this morning. Here's what Walden told reporters (via Variety):

“It feels as if it was a complete series. We have no plans to go back and tell more stories there. We won’t be seeing Scream Queens this season.”

Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan, Scream Queens premiered on FOX in the fall of 2015, introducing viewers to the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority house at Wallace University, where a murderer dressed as the Red Devil ignited a new reign of terror. Season 2 took viewers into the C.U.R.E. Institute, a cutting-edge hospital where the Green Meanie killer stalked the halls.

A blend of self-aware comedy and gory horror, the series featured a cast that included Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd (who recently joined the cast of American Horror Story Season 7), Abigail Breslin, Glen Powell, John Stamos, and Oliver Hudson.

On Twitter, Jamie Lee Curtis thanked the fans of the series with a funny and heartfelt message:
