The Corpse Club is back with another special episode of "Horrigins," our monthly spinoff exploring the origins of key franchises and figures in horror, as well as our first eerie experiences with them, and we have such sights to show you this time around with our look back at the pleasurable pain of Clive Barker's Hellraiser.
A special Class of 1987 installment featuring co-hosts Patrick Bromley and Heather Wixson, Corpse Club Episode 8 is titled “Horrigins – Clive Barker's Hellraiser." The Corpse Club duo discuss their first unforgettable experiences with Hellraiser, the legacy of the Cenobites, the film's visceral violence and thought-provoking themes, Doug Bradley's portrayal of Pinhead (aka Lead Cenobite), The Hellbound Heart novella, and Clive Barker's imaginative approach to adapting his written work for the big screen.
Upcoming episodes of Corpse Club will continue to see a shakeup of the host lineup and format, featuring additional members of the Daily Dead team, as well as special guests from all corners of the horror entertainment world.
