The casting process is currently underway for the next season of American Horror Story and we have some information on new characters that may appear in season 2. Just consider this a rumor at the moment, but it matches up with some of the previous details we've heard. This casting sheet was spotted over at the IMDB Message Boards:

"[TERESA] Mid 20s. Caucasian, Latin, or Asian, Very sexy. She is the other half of "The Lovers" - her fiance will be played by Adam Levine. RECURRING GUEST STAR

[ALMA] Mid 20s, African American, beautiful. RECURRING GUEST STAR

[THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BOY IN THE WORLD] 20 to 29, open to all ethnicities, would prefer shoulder-length hair, but do not limit your submissions. RECURRING GUEST STAR

[TEENAGE BOY CONTORTIONIST] 15 to 20, we are looking for an actor who is skilled at being a contortionist. Please only submit actors who have experience. GUEST STAR"

In case you missed our previous American Horror Story Season 2 casting news, Chloe Sevigny has been in talks to join the show as Shelly the Nymphomaniac. She’d be appearing with new cast members Lizzie Brocheré and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine, along with returning actors Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Even Peters, and Lily Rabe.

As reported earlier this year, all returning actors will be playing completely new characters. In fact, the story won’t even take place during the same time period of the first season. Instead it will be a brand new story set in an East Coast institution for the criminally insane run by Jessica Lange’s character. American Horror Story Season 2 begins shooting this summer and will premiere in October.
