Hello again, dear readers! We’re back for another look at this week’s horror and sci-fi home media releases, and there are quite a few titles headed home tomorrow. So, if you have any last-minute shopping you need to get done, there might be something listed here that could be helpful in that regard.

Probably the biggest release of this week is Arrow’s brand new 4K 2-Disc Limited Edition set celebrating one of the best monster movies ever, Tremors, and Warner is showing some love to The Curse of Frankenstein as well. In terms of recent horror, we have a ton of brilliant genre fare to pick from on Tuesday, including The Wolf of Snow Hollow, The Beach House, Don’t Look Back, and The Call, and Full Moon has resurrected Orgy of the Dead as well.

Suffice to say, there’s a little bit of something for everyone this week, so take a look at the entire rundown of December 15th’s Blu-ray and DVD releases.

The Beach House (RLJE Films, Blu-ray & DVD)

Hoping to reignite their relationship, college students Emily and Randall arrive at their weekend getaway only to discover a peculiar older couple already staying there. They all agree to share the home but, after an indulgent night of partying, they’re awoken to a living nightmare of apocalyptic proportions. A mysterious airborne microbe has infected the water and it’s making its way to the house….

The Call (Cinedigm, Blu-ray & DVD)

From the creator of Final Destination, Lin Shaye and Tobin Bell star in this terrifying tale of death from the fall of 1987. A group of small town friends must survive the night in the home of a sinister couple after a tragic accident.

The Curse of Frankenstein: 2-Disc Special Edition (Warner Archives, Blu-ray)

Baron Victor Frankenstein has discovered the secret to generating new life and unleashed a murderous ripple effect, born from his cursed creation: a monster with a horrid face and a tendency to kill.

The Dark and the Wicked (RLJE Films, Blu-ray & DVD)

On a secluded farm, a man is bedridden and fighting through his final breaths while his wife slowly succumbs to overwhelming grief. Siblings Louise and Michael return home to help, but it doesn’t take long for them to see that something’s wrong with mom—something more than her heavy sorrow. Gradually, they begin to suffer a darkness similar to their mother’s, marked by waking nightmares and a growing sense that an evil entity is taking over their family.

Orgy of the Living Dead (Full Moon Pictures, Blu-ray)

Serge Chekov inherits his uncle's estate, only to discover that Professor Droila, a mad scientist, has taken residence in the basement. As Chekov investigates further, he learns that Droila is reanimating the dead with the help of a necrophiliac grave robber by the name of Igor.

Tremors: 2-Disc Limited Edition 4K (Arrow Video, 4K Ultra HD)

Good-ol -boy handymen Val (Kevin Bacon) and Earl (Fred Ward) are sick of their dead-end jobs in one-horse desert town Perfection, Nevada (population: 14). Just as they re about to escape Perfection forever, however, things start to get really weird: half-eaten corpses litter the road out of town; the phone lines stop working; and a plucky young scientist shows evidence of unusually strong seismic activity in the area. Something is coming for the citizens of Perfection and it s under the goddamn ground!
