While we still know nothing about Paranormal Activity 4's plot, we have news on the first new face to join the cast. Matt Shively (Pictured Below) has been cast as Alex, according to Bloody Disgusting. You may not be familiar with the 21-yr old actor, but he appeared in 59 episodes of Nickelodeon's True Jackson, VP.

The last time we reported on this project was in March, when it has been revealed that The River writer/producer Zack Estrin has been hired by Paramount to write the screenplay for the forth entry in the successful found footage franchise.

Paranormal Activity 3 directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman will return for this sequel, which has been scheduled for release on October 19th. Paranormal Activity 3 earned over $100 million in the US theaters on an estimated production budget of $5 million, so expect the franchise to continue as long as they have interesting stories to tell. Don't expect too much plot information to be revealed until later this year, as details for Paranormal Activity 3 were kept under wraps until only a few months before the movie's release.
