The Walking Dead returns tomorrow with a brand new episode and we still have a handful of special features headed your way over the next few days. Until then, we thought Daily Dead readers would be interested in taking a look at AMC's new viral stunt to promote The Walking Dead Season 4 by setting zombies loose in New York City. We also have a video that will catch you up on The Walking Dead in just four minutes.
“The Walking Dead” returns with the highly anticipated final eight episodes of season four beginning Sunday, February 9 at 9pm ET/PT. Following the devastating events of the mid-season finale, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the group are still reeling from the loss of their home, family and friends. With the destruction of the prison, the group of survivors is broken apart and sent on divergent paths, unsure of everyone else’s fate. What was a challenging life behind fences and walls grows that much more perilous and precious as they are exposed to new dangers, new enemies and heartbreaking choices. They will have their faith thoroughly tested — a faith that breaks some of them and redeems others.”
UK readers will be happy to learn that Season 4 will resume for them on Monday, February 10th, so there won’t be as long of a wait as previous seasons. Other countries around the world should also see the episode 4.09 premiere on February 10th, but check your local listings to confirm the date and time.
Also, don’t forget that you’ll have the chance to have Norman Reedus answer your question on Twitter this Sunday: “This Sunday, iTunes TV and AMC’s The Walking Dead are hosting a live Twitter Q&A with Norman Reedus. Reedus will be answering fan questions about the series and his character, Daryl. Fans can tweet questions to @iTunesTV using #askNorman up until the start of the live Q&A, this Sunday at 8:30pm EST/5:30pm PST.”
