The second season of American Horror Story has just started filming, but casting news continues to roll in. The latest report reveals that Clea Duvall has joined the show. According to THR, Duvall (pictured below) has joined the series for a multiple-episode role.

Specific details on her character are unknown at this time, except that she'll be sharing scenes specifically with Sarah Paulson. Clea Duvall has been racking up quite a few TV credits lately, and horror fans should remember her from her roles in The Grudge, The Faculty, and Carnivale.

Chloe Sevigny, James Cromwell, Lizzie Brocheré, Adam Levine, Chris Zylka, Britne Oldford, Mark Consuelos and Joseph Fiennes make up the rest of the new cast members that will appear in American Horror Story Season 2. Shooting is now taking place, with Season 1 actors Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Even Peters, and Lily Rabe returning as new characters.

The second season will feature an all new story set in an institution for the criminally insane. A specific release date has not been set, but the new season is expected to premiere in October.
