Earlier this year, it was announced that Alien, Predator, and Alien vs. Predator will launch new series under Marvel Comics next year following Disney's acquisition of Fox, and now the cover art and details have been revealed for the first issue of the new Alien comic book series due out in March.

Written by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and featuring artwork by Salvador Larroca, Alien #1 will feature "both new and classic characters from Earth and beyond" and follow "a Weyland-Yutani mercenary named Gabriel Cruz as he battles a deadly new breed of xenomorph with the survival of his child hanging in the balance," according to Marvel.com.
