As Corpse Club listeners know, we're big fans of all things Alien here on Daily Dead, and like a lot of fans, we're fascinated by the production behind one of the more divisive entries in the franchise, Alien 3. In the ’80s, author William Gibson was approached to write a screenplay for the third film, and while his story never came to fruition on screen, Gibson's version will soon come to life on the paneled page in a five-issue comic book series from Johnnie Christmas and Dark Horse:
