Ever since Daily Dead Managing Editor Heather Wixson gave it a five-star review, we've been excited for Daily Dead readers to unwrap the holiday horrors of the zombie Christmas musical Anna and the Apocalypse. Giving horror fans a deeper look at the blood-stained laughs and comedic carnage to come, Orion Pictures has now revealed the official trailer and new images from Anna and the Apocalypse ahead of its theatrical release this holiday season.
Directed by John McPhail from a screenplay by Alan McDonald and Ryan McHenry, Anna and the Apocalypse stars Ella Hunt, Malcom Cumming, Ben Wiggins, Sarah Swire, Christopher Leveaux, Marli Siu, Mark Benton, and Paul Kaye.
Orion Pictures will release Anna and the Apocalypse in select theaters on November 30th, followed by a nationwide release on December 7th.
Synopsis: "A zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven - at Christmas - forcing Anna and her friends to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world, and with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other..."
