If you've ever wanted to be the person who was called when there was something strange (and supernatural) in your neighborhood, then the new Ghostbusters: Dimension hyper-reality experience at Madame Tussauds in New York City will be like an ectoplasmic dream come true.

After purchasing a ticket for $49.75 apiece (which includes access to Madame Tussauds' Ghostbusters Experience that's based on the new movie), participants of Ghostbusters: Dimension put on a VR headset that transforms their surroundings into a paranormal-plagued apartment building.

Wearing a sensory vest and wielding a fake gun that serves as your proton pack, you can make your way through the VR experience, take on Slimer, and become the Ghostbuster you once told your teacher you wanted to grow up to be on career day. Just remember to never cross streams...

Created by VR company THE VOID, this immersive Ghostbusters experience opened on July 1st (an end date is currently unknown). Below, we have official details on Ghostbusters: Dimension, as well as images and videos teasing what to expect. To learn more, visit:

"In Ghostbusters: Dimension, developed by THE VOID in collaboration with Ivan Reitman, Paul Feig and Sony Pictures, audiences will experience what it is like to be a Ghostbuster, tracking and trapping a supernatural foe through a New York apartment complex in an environment that combines physical props and sets, real-time interactive effects, and virtual reality technology designed by THE VOID.

Using a combination of virtual reality, real-time interactive effects, and a physical set, you’ll become a Ghostbuster and blast your way through a ghost-infested apartment complex with your own proton pack and gun.

This marks THE VOID's first public installation premiering here, at Madame Tussauds New York!"
