Previously scheduled to come out in theaters on May 15th, the animated movie Scoob! was pulled from Warner Bros.' release schedule back in March, but now it's being reported that the film will be coming out on May 15th after all, albeit on VOD.
Deadline reveals that Scoob! will "be available for a 48-hour rental PVOD [premium video on demand] period for U.S. $19.99, or EST price of $24.99." Additionally, Exhibitor Relations confirms that viewers will also be able to own Scoob! via digital purchase beginning May 15th.
This follows in the footsteps of other films like The Invisible Man and The Hunt switching to premium VOD releases after their theatrical runs were cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic.
